Description

Nos 67 and 69 on New Street are early 19th century buildings that stand two storeys tall. They are finished in stucco and feature a projecting plinth, a flat moulded eaves cornice, and a parapet with coping, likely topped by a slate roof. The first floor has three windows, each with stucco keystones, while the ground floor contains two windows and a central door. All windows have had their glazing bars removed. The central entrance features a six-panelled door with a plain projecting surround, supported by carved scroll brackets that hold up a moulded cornice hood. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 21 to 49 (odd), the School of Arts and Crafts, and Nos 61, 63, and 67 to 75 (odd). They also form a group with No 37 High Street.
