Description

39 High Street is a 17th-century building that has been altered. It stands three storeys tall, with the upper part covered in tile hanging. On the second floor, there is one leaded casement window. The first floor features a small canted bay window, which has a moulded cornice and a panelled apron. The ground floor has a plain early 19th-century shop front, framed with moulding and a glazed door, topped by an overhanging moulded cornice. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 37 to 51 (odd) and Nos 50 to 58 (even) & No 64.
