Description

Thackets is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, constructed from brick-laced flint and topped with a thatched roof. The building features four bays, with the two left bays likely being older but lacking a contemporary stack. The two right bays include an entrance located in the third bay, which is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch. The entrance consists of a six-panel door. The cottage has timber casement windows with segmental-headed openings, and similar windows are found in four flush dormers. The thatch extends over a 20th-century rear outshut and is half-hipped at both ends.
