Description

Windibank Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It has a timber frame encased in flint with brick dressings and is topped with an old plain tile roof. The building is 1½ stories high and consists of three bays, set on a plinth. The door, located at the inner end of the right bay, is from the 18th century and features a cambered head. Each bay contains 19th-century two or three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, and there is a brick band above these windows. The cottage also has three hipped roof dormers, each with similar three-light casements. There is an external gable stack at the left end and a ridge stack situated between the left and center bays.
