II

Cottage. Early C19, with C20 alterations. Flint with brick dressings and Bath stone window surroundings some tilehanging, old plain tile roof. 2 storey, 4 bay with 5th brick bay added onto left end. Projecting 2 storey porch to centre bay, with pointed vertical panels of flint on sides and either side of double doors 2/3 glazed with Gothick glazing bars, with tilehung gabled 1st floor with 2-light Gothick casements. In bays either side, on each floor, 3-light Gothick casement. Right end bay has early C20 single storey canted bay with balcony above and Gothick glazed casements. Left bay is later C20 with Gothick glazed pointed door and above sash. Above 2nd bay from left, gabled dormer with 2-light Gothick casement. Roof has pointed ridge tiles, large brick stack over 2nd bay from right and sailing-boat wrought iron weathervane on right end of ridge.
