Description
The Three Horseshoes Public House is a building that dates from the 18th century and early 20th century. It is constructed of brick, which has been colourwashed, and features an old plain tiled roof. The structure is two storeys high with an attic, standing on a plinth and consisting of three bays.
The central bay has a pair of doors from the 1920s, which are situated under a contemporary flat hood supported by timber brackets. On either side of this central entrance, there are 18th-century three-light casement windows with gauged brick arches above them. A string course runs along the first floor, where there are two similar windows that have heads set in offset and dentilled eaves.
At the left side of the roof, there is a dormer featuring a two-light casement window, and brick stacks are present at the gables. The interior retains features from the 18th century, although it has been remodelled in the 1920s.
