Description

The north wall of the west garden of Avebury Manor is an early 18th-century structure built of Flemish brickwork. It stands 39 courses high and features pilaster buttresses along with flush stone coping. The wall is designed with ten bays, which are curved in plan with a central straight section. There are two simple doorways incorporated into the design. This wall serves as the northern backdrop to the yew garden and is topped with ball finials over the buttresses.
