SEMINGTON DEVIZES ROAD ST 96 SW (off north side) 5/188 Littleton Green Farmhouse GV II

Farmhouse. Late C16, C17 south wing. Rendered rubble stone, timber-framed wing with brick nogging, stone slate roof with stone and brick stacks. Through passage to rear of stack, parlour wing at south end. Two-storey, 3-window. Four-panelled door in gabled porch, two 2-light casements to left and 3-light casement to right. Three 2-light casements to first floor. Timber-framed wing on rubble stone plinth projecting to right has 2-light casements, west gable end rebuilt in brick, C20 casements to south side. Left return has large external stone stack. Rear C20 kitchen extension to right, not of special interest, single-storey former dairy with pantiled roof attached to left, ground floor of main range has 3- light and single-light casements, small 12-pane sash to first floor. Interior has chamfered beams, good Tudor-arched stone fireplace at north end with foliage carved consoles to moulded cornice.
