Description
Nos 18 and 19 on High Street are a symmetrical pair of buildings from the 18th century, featuring a rendered front that covers an older structure. They stand three storeys high with a cellar and have a low-pitched gable end slate roof. A moulded string course runs along the second floor. The upper floors have two double windows, which are sash style with glazing bars set in architrave frames. The ground floor includes two small shop windows; the left window has four panes, while the right has five panes. There are two doors: No 18 has a half-glazed door, and No 19 features a six-panel door in an architrave frame, topped with a small hood supported by long scroll brackets. The shop fronts and doors are framed with panelled pilasters and a moulded band across the front, and there are cellar gratings. Nos 16 to 22 and No 24 are part of a group with these buildings.
