Description

Nos 21 and 22 Market Place are 18th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall and are finished in painted stucco. They feature a low pitch gable end slate roof with moulded eaves. On the second floor, there are two sash windows, each four panes wide, set within architrave frames. The first floor has two three-light casement windows, also in architrave frames. The ground floor previously had an early 19th-century shop front and garage, which has since been altered to include early 19th-century style bow windows and glazed doors. Nos 21 to 24, along with The Black Swan Hotel, form a group.
