Description

The structure is a high wall that runs east from the rear of Holy Trinity Church Hall. It is constructed of random rubble and features two large, eccentric arched recesses with dressed voussoirs. The wall curves forward at the right-hand side, and the masonry is built out to create a rough squinch in the corner. This wall is part of a group of listed buildings in Church Street, which includes the Chantry, Little Chantry, Barton Orchard, and the Catholic Church of St Thomas More, along with several other properties on Barton Orchard and Newtown.
