Description

Titchborne Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse, built on the site of a 17th-century house. It is constructed of English bond brick, with a hipped tiled roof and brick stacks. The building has a square plan. The front has two storeys and three windows. A central planked door is flanked by a three-light casement window on each side, all windows are arched at the top. The first floor has two two-light casements and one blind window. A stepped brick eaves cornice runs along the top of the walls, and the roof has two spans. The left return side has two 20th-century casement windows on the ground floor and two-light casements on the first floor. The right return side has a planked door within a tiled porch, and blocked windows on both floors. Attached to the right is a single-storey outhouse with a hipped roof. Inside, there are reused deeply chamfered beams, a 17th-century stack, and planked doors.
