Description

This is a late 17th-century house situated on the north side of the High Street in Erlestoke. The building is constructed of painted rubble stone with ashlar dressings, topped with a plain tiled roof and moulded coped gables, including a finial on the east end stack. It extends over two storeys and an attic. The front facade features a two-window arrangement of ovolo-moulded recessed mullion windows with hoodmoulds: two three-light windows at ground level, a three-light and a two-light window above. A raised moulded plinth runs along the base. The west end has an attic gable constructed in brick, containing a similar two-light window. A one-and-a-half-storey rendered rear wing has been added, featuring an end stack.
