Description

This is a pair of early 19th-century houses, now combined into a single property, located on Silver Street in Malmesbury. The construction is of limewashed limestone rubble with a brick gable stack on the right-hand side and an asbestos slate roof. The houses follow a single-depth plan.

The front facing Silver Street has a two-window arrangement. The doorway on the left has been blocked, while a half-glazed door is located on the right. Above these doorways are 20th-century casement windows. The left-hand gable has segmental arches over a pair of 20th-century casement windows on the ground floor, and a single 20th-century casement window above that, and in the attic. The ground floor of the gable has a chamfered angle with two timber lintels set beneath the eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
