Description

A pair of houses, now combined into a single dwelling, dating to the mid-18th century with possible earlier origins. The construction is of rendered limestone rubble, with brick gable stacks and a stone slate roof to the north end and an interlocking tile roof with a higher ridge to the south. The building follows a single-depth plan developed in two phases, the earlier phase being on the right, with a central entrance relating to an 18th-century extension. It is two storeys high, with a four-window front. A doorway is centrally positioned, sheltered by a bracketed canopy and featuring a recessed, half-glazed door. A single 19th-century plate-glass sash window is located to the left of the doorway, while the two windows to the right are wider and lower, with 2/2-pane glazing. The first floor windows are evenly spaced, featuring 6/6-pane sashes. The rear of the property has been rebuilt. The interior has not been inspected.
