Description

No. 13 The Green is a cottage built from limestone, featuring a brick facade and a thatched roof. It dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. The cottage has two storeys and three window bays. There is a 20th-century thatched porch on the left bay. The windows are leaded casements with 9-inch gauged brick lintels, where the centre bricks form a flush raised key. The thatch is half-hipped to the left, and there is a gable stack on the right. The left gable has been refaced, and a two-storey rear wing was added in the 20th century.
