Description

A group of three early 19th-century cottages stand in a row on the south side of Union Street. Constructed of ashlar, they have Welsh slate roofs and stone stacks. The cottages are three storeys high and feature a four-window arrangement. Each cottage has a door with six beaded panels. Windows are primarily 12-pane sashes, though No. 5 has casement windows on the ground, first, and second floors. Plat bands are visible at the first and second floor levels. The cottages are recognised for their representative quality as examples of artisans' housing on this early 19th-century street.
