Description

The Glen is a house built in the early 19th century, constructed from ashlar stone with a slate roof that is hipped to the west. The east gable has a coped design and features an end wall stack. The building stands two storeys tall and has a floor band that runs around the west end. It has a double front facing south, with two 12-pane sash windows on each floor and a central four-panel door that is topped with a hood supported by brackets. There is also a 12-pane sash window on each floor of the west wall. The Glen is prominently located at the junction of Devizes Road and High Street and is listed for its group value.
