Description

This is a chest tomb located about 2 metres north of the nave of the Church of All Saints in Atworth, dating from the mid-18th century. It is made of limestone and stands on a plinth, featuring two moulded recessed panels on each side and an ogee-moulded flat top. The inscriptions on the tomb are illegible, and at the time of the survey in December 1986, it was partly overgrown by ivy.
