Description

The John Kington monument, located in the churchyard north of the porch of the Church of St Giles, is a chest tomb dating from around 1800. It is constructed of ashlar and features lyre ends. The monument has two circular plaques on the south side and two rectangular plaques on the north side, adorned with drapery between them. The earliest inscription commemorates J. Kington, who died in 1798.
