Description

This is a chest tomb from the late 17th century located in the churchyard to the north of the tower of the Church of St Giles. It is made of ashlar stone and features a chamfered capstone with sunk panels on each side. The south panel is inscribed with the words "Death's an entrance to life againe/ Wth Christ for ever to remaine" along with the initials "T.G." beneath.
