Description

KINGSBURY STREET 1. 5407 (West Side) Nos 1 and 2 SU 1869 1/48 II GV 2. Early C19. 3 storey and basement. Ashlar bath stone, printed and rusticated on ground floor with projecting string at 1st floor level and 6 Ionic pilasters to upper floors, outer pilasters set in from ends of building which are slightly recessed Entablature and blocking course. 5 windows to upper floors. 3 large windows (glazing altered) on ground floor and 2 glazed doors with rectangular fanlights. 2 basement windows. The whole building on a curve. Nos 1, 2, 4 to 11 (consec) form a group with Nos 40 to 48A (consec), opposite, and Nos 1, 17 and 18 Silvester Street.
