Description

The walls, piers, and iron railings enclosing the west side of the Abbey Church graveyard in Malmesbury date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed, squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar piers and iron railings with gates. The capped piers provide access through gates at the northwest entrance, and the walls extend approximately 200 meters around the western side of the graveyard.
