Description

This small pedestrian bridge, located about 17 meters north of the chapel wall at Woodlands Manor, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble limestone and features a low segmental arch with rough voussoirs and large central projecting keystones on each side. The bridge has flat parapets with saddle-back copings leading to square-ended abutments. The walkway is paved with stone slabs, which are said to be tiles from the roof of the Manor. The bridge may have originally provided access to a path leading towards St. Michaels Church.
