Description

Three cottages stand in a row, dating to the 18th and 19th centuries. They are constructed of brick with a thatched roof. Number 6, on the right, is two bays wide and built in English bond. It features a boarded front door to the left, with a two-light window above, and a raised two-course brick band above the entrance. Timber casement windows have gauged brick lintels. Above the plat band, the brickwork is in Flemish bond, with the wall rising above the wall plate and displaying exposed rafter ends. Number 5 is a single bay and constructed in Flemish bond; the upper floor has been rebuilt. A boarded door is present in an extension to the left, which forms part of Number 4. Number 4 is a single storey and attic with another boarded door and casement windows. There are two brick stacks; one is external to the right gable and includes offsets and plat bands carried round it.
