Description

The Washing Well is a mid-19th century building, possibly with older elements behind its facade. It features painted brickwork and a parapet, topped by a slate roof. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows set within an arcade of recesses that include an impost string. The ground floor has two modern plate glass shop fronts with a large common fascia, and there is an off-centre right doorcase surrounded by rusticated detailing.
