Description
No. 56, Gloucester Street is an 18th-century house with a 20th-century extension to the rear. It is constructed of limestone rubble with limestone dressings, a brick gable stack on the right-hand side, and an interlocking tile roof. The house has a single-room plan and a two-window front. The ground floor has 20th-century casement windows with timber lintels, while a small casement window is located beneath the eaves on the first floor. A late 20th-century porch has been added to the right-hand return. The interior was not inspected.
