Description
This is a pair of houses located at 8 and 10 Burnivale, built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from limestone rubble, which was previously limewashed, and feature brick dressings along with brick ridge and party wall stacks. The houses have a stone slate roof and a double-depth plan. Each house has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The central doorways include a gabled porch for No. 8 and a segmental-arched doorway for No. 10. The ground floor windows have segmental heads, while the first floor windows have timber lintels and horned sashes with margin bars. Notably, No. 10 has a full-height extension with a slate roof. The interior has not been inspected.
