Description

This is a pair of cottages, now combined into a single dwelling, dating to the late 17th and 18th centuries. The exterior is rubble stone, incorporating areas of chequered chalk and flint, with a thatched roof and three brick chimney stacks. The cottage is single-storied with an attic, and features four windows. A planked door is located to the left of the centre, sheltered by a thatched canopy. To the left of the door are two two-light casement windows, and to the right are two two-light casements and one three-light casement, two of which have shutters. Four eyebrow dormers are visible, each containing a three-light or two-light casement window. The rear of the cottage also has two-light and three-light casement windows. The interior of the cottage was not inspected, but it appears to be comprised of several differing building phases.
