The cottage is two stories high and has three windows. To the left, there is an outshut porch with a planked door and a raised roof, featuring a 20th century two-light casement window. To the right, there are two two-light casement windows and a three-light casement window from the 19th century. On the first floor, there is one single casement window to the left and a two-light casement window to the right. The right side of the building has a single leaded casement window. The rear of the cottage includes a four-panelled door from the 19th century to the left, along with three-light and two-light casement windows on the ground floor, and a slate-roofed verandah. The first floor has three two-light casement windows. Inside, there is a chamfered beam with step and run-out stops, an open fireplace with a chamfered lintel and step and run-out stops, and planked doors.
