Description
Springfield is a detached house built in the late 18th century. It features a plastered brick exterior and a tiled roof with gable-end brick stacks. The house has a two-span roof and is two stories high with a symmetrical front that has three windows. The central entrance is a 20th-century door with six fielded panels and a fanlight set in a round-arched case, which is adorned with a keystone and pilasters. On either side of the door are 16-pane flush sash windows, also with moulded keystones. The first floor has three 16-pane sash windows with moulded keystones flanking pilasters, and the eaves are dentilled. The roof includes two hipped dormers with 6-pane sash windows. The right side of the house features French windows, a 16-pane sash window, and a small sash window, along with a 12-pane sash window in the attic. Inside, the front range has doors with six fielded panels and chamfered beams.
