Description
Kingfishers is a cottage located on Salisbury Road in Bulford, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of knapped flint with red brick detailing around the openings, set on a flint base, and features limestone quoins. The cottage has a thatched roof and is a single storey with an attic, consisting of two bays. There is a 19th-century extension on the west side and a 20th-century porch. An outshut is present at the rear, and the entrances are located in the gables. The windows are late 19th to early 20th-century timber casements, with those on the upper floor integrated into the thatch. The roof is half hipped, with a gable stack at the west end and an added external stack on the east. One of the reused quoins bears a graffito that reads "iaic...WE. R B66 CRESTEMOS 1566."
