Description
This is a row of three houses located in Kington St Michael, dating from the early to mid-18th century. Number 10 was refronted in 1900. The buildings are constructed of rubble stone and feature a stone slate roof, with a ridge stack and a stack at the north end. They are two storeys high. Numbers 8 and 9 have a four-window range, with doors on each side and single lights above, along with a two-window range of two-lights in the centre. The windows are bead-moulded, and the doors are set in flush surrounds. Number 10, which may have originally been two houses, is made of squared rubble and has small 12-pane sash windows: one in the centre of the first floor, a pair on each side, and two on the left side of the ground floor. There are two doors, also in flush surrounds. A date plaque on the building reads "RMB 1728," with "1900" added below.
