Description
Church Cottage is a late 18th-century semi-detached cottage located on the east side of Hindon High Street. The cottage is constructed of English bond brick with vitrified headers, and has a tiled roof with a brick stack on its right side. It is a single-storey building with an attic. The front elevation features a late 19th-century porch with a half-glazed door on the left side, and a two-light casement window on the right. A hipped dormer with a two-light casement window is set into the attic. The rear of the cottage includes an integral outshut, with a 20th-century flat-roofed extension attached. Inside, the cottage retains beaded ceiling beams and exposed joists, along with an open fireplace featuring a beaded lintel on brick jambs.
