Description

The carthouse at Manor Farm is a structure dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is timber framed, featuring a blockwork wall at the rear aisle and a brick wall facing the street. The building consists of seven bays and has an open front. It includes jowled posts with braces to ties, raking queen struts, and clasped purlins. There is a narrow aisle at the rear, with the outer wall having been rebuilt. The trusses are numbered from the west.
