Description

The Old House is an 18th-century house located in Collingbourne Kingston. It features diaper brickwork and a tiled roof, standing two storeys high with five bays, plus a sixth bay added to the right. Inside, there is a central stair hall with flanking reception rooms, and stacks are positioned on the original gable walls. The exterior includes a plat band, a 20th-century boarded door, and a hipped tiled porch. The house has tall two-light timber windows with leaded glazing and 23-centimeter gauged red brick lintels. At the rear, there are two large dormers and a 20th-century single bay rear wing on the left. The extension, which is early 19th century and constructed similarly, features a blocked low arch on the right.
