Description
A pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century, situated north of Pewsham, near Calne. The cottages are constructed of rubble stone with a concrete tile roof and a brick stack in the centre of the ridge. They are two storeys high with an attic space, and feature two 20th-century flat-roofed dormers. The main elevation has four windows, arranged as 1-3-3-1 lights on the upper floor, with simple, unmoulded mullions. The ground floor windows are similarly designed, with doors set in flush, chamfered surrounds between the windows. Stone slab hoods shelter the windows and doors. The south end of the building is built of ironstone.
