Description

This is an 18th-century semi-detached cottage located in Middle Stoke. The building is constructed of rubble stone with a Bridgwater tiled roof, featuring a coped verge on the left and a hip on the right. Stone stacks are also present. It is a two-story, two-window structure. A four-panelled door from the 19th century is set within a chamfered stone surround and topped with hoodmoulds. To the right of the door is a blocked single-light window and a recessed chamfered light also with a hoodmould. A recessed chamfered mullioned casement window with a hoodmould is visible on the left side. The first floor features a two-light and a single-light recessed chamfered casement window, both with hoodmoulds, and likely dating to the 19th century. A straight joint between the two bays indicates that the left-hand bay was built later than the right-hand part. The interior of the cottage has not been inspected.
