Description
Netherhill Patch is an early 18th-century house located on the east side of White Hill in Pitton and Farley. The building is constructed of rendered cob and features a thatched roof. It has two storeys and three bays, following a lobby entry plan with a central 20th-century door set in its original opening, which is sheltered by a thatched canopy. The house includes 18th-century leaded windows, with two-light windows on the ground floor and three-light windows on the upper floor, both fitted with quadrant stays. The roof is hipped and has a central brick chimney stack, along with a sun fire plate positioned at a high level. There is a rear wing attached to the central and left bays, which is likely original, and a 20th-century lean-to on the side. Inside, the house features back-to-back fireplaces, and the staircase at the rear has been altered to a straight flight. The interior also showcases chamfered cross beams.
