Description

Nos 1-3 Bedwyn Common is a terrace of estate cottages built around 1880 for the Ailesbury estate. The cottages are constructed of brick and feature a tiled roof. They are two-storey buildings, with the center cottage having one bay and the end cottages each having two bays. The cottages have boarded doors and cast iron windows with diamond panes and margins. There is a gable stack on the left and two stacks on the party walls. The roof is half hipped on the left side. Although there are various rear extensions, the exterior of the block remains virtually unaltered.
