Description

The Long House is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, constructed from colourwashed rubble with a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features five bays. The central entrance has a six-panelled door topped by a flat canopy. There is a canted bay window in the fifth bay, while the other windows consist of three leaded lights with timber lintels. The house has two hipped dormers, a brick stack to the right of the entrance, and another stack on the right gable. The roof is quarter-hipped on the left side. At the rear, there is a single-bay extension attached to the second bay, along with slit vents in the first floor of the first bay and windows in the gable.
