Description
The stables, dating to the 18th century, are located to the east of the Old Rectory. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble with a stone slate roof. The stables are single-story, with a raised gable facing the road. A central doorway leads towards the main house. An ashlar flue is situated at the south end, and stone ventilation tiles are present. The windows have an ovolo moulded design, each with a label moulding. A roadside garden wall, also dating to the 18th century and built of limestone, runs along the front. The wall rises to a height of 2 meters, sweeping upwards to 3 meters, with a central section reaching 4 meters. The interior features a barrel vault and an upper floor constructed of gypsum.
