Description

Melton Lodge is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and topped with a poor man's slate roof. The building features a three by two bay layout and has a central porch with a swept lead roof supported by cast iron columns. The entrance includes a four-pane half-glazed door and a round fanlight above it. The windows are twelve-pane sashes, each with radial stone voussoirs serving as flat lintels. The roof is hipped and includes gable stacks.
