Lodge cottage, at end of north drive to Monkton Farleigh Manor (q.v.). C18 and C19. Coursed rubble stone, stone slate roof with coped verges and diagonally-set stone stacks. Two-storey. Three- window front facing rear of Manor House. Half-glazed door to left of centre, single and 2-light casements to right. Plat band to first floor, 2-light and two 3-light cyma-mullioned casements with hoodmoulds. Two-storey C19 bay added to right has 2-light casements and battlemented parapet to flat roof. Rear facing road has planked door with flanking pairs of leaded pointed windows, blocked doorway to right, C20 casement to first floor. Included primarily for group value.
