Description
The dovecote at Manor Farm, built around 1870 for the Wilton Estate, is a two-storey structure with an attached stable. It features a square plan and is designed in an Italianate style, constructed from rubble stone and ashlar with a hipped Welsh slate roof. The ground floor includes a partly blocked segmental arched opening, which now has a square-headed 20th-century door. The first floor is distinguished by a plat band and a round-arched opening with a keystone, flanked by two round-arched sashes. The roof has a coved cornice and a timber gabled dovecote. At the rear, there is a single-storey stable that has a stable door in a wooden chamfered case and three cross windows. The interior has not been inspected. This dovecote is located immediately to the east of the remaining buildings of the Model Farm group.
