Description

These are a group of mid-19th century buildings on Silverless Street, constructed of red brick with yellow brick dressings, and having pitched slate roofs with red brick chimneys featuring cornicing. The buildings have two storeys and a stucco band above the ground floor. The first floor has six sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor features a variety of openings. From left to right, there is one shop window, one half-glazed door with a fanlight framed by pilasters with roundels at the capital level supporting a moulded cornice, a modern door, one sash window with glazing bars, and finally, a door with six moulded panels. Buildings number 3 to 8, together with Rosetree, form a group with numbers 9 to 15, and with numbers 1A to 5 on The Green.
