Description

This is a 17th-century building, altered subsequently. It is two stories and has an attic. The building has a timber frame with colourwashed brick infilling on the ground floor and tile hanging on the first floor, using shaped tiles. The roof is tiled. There are two gabled dormers. The windows are two-light casements with 19th-century glass. A modern door is located to the right of the centre, set within a plain architrave surround. Number 1 forms a group with numbers 17 and 18 opposite, and with numbers 1 to 11 (inclusive) and numbers 40 to 48A (inclusive) in Kingsbury Street.
