Description
No. 42 Kingsbury Street is a 17th-century building that has been altered and is part of a larger block. It has one storey and an attic, constructed with a timber frame and colour washed brick infilling, topped with an old tile roof. The front facing Kingsbury Street features a single gable, while there are two smaller gables on the front facing Silverless Street. Each gable contains one 2-light casement window. The Kingsbury Street side has a modern shop front with a small modern shop window and door, as well as one 18th-century window facing Silverless Street. This building is grouped with Nos 40 to 48A Kingsbury Street and Nos 1, 2, 4 to 11 opposite, along with Nos 1, 17, and 18 Silverless Street.
