Description
Moonrakers is a cottage dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It is timber framed with brick noggings and features a single storey with an attic, consisting of two bays. Originally, the layout included a kitchen on the left and a parlour on the right. The door to the kitchen has been replaced with a gable door in a 20th-century wooden porch. The cottage has leaded casement windows and external stacks on both gables. The roof is a queen strut clasped purlin type, with thatch extending over one dormer and a half-hipped design. There is a rear extension with a tiled roof, clad in waney boarding.
