Description

Two Oram monuments are located in the churchyard about 10 metres south-west of the Church of St Mary, St Katherine and All Saints. These are two chest tombs from the early 19th century made of limestone. Each tomb features a plinth and two inscription panels with grooved borders. The southern tomb is dedicated to James Oram, who died in 1811, and includes a floral-carved central panel, fluted corner pilasters, and an oval panel on the north side. The northern tomb commemorates Jonas Oram, who died in 1857, and features a bas-relief carved urn in the centre panel, with both tombs having fluted friezes at their low weathered tops.
